New MDS Support Group - Washington DC Area
Hi,
In concert with the Inova's Schar Cancer Institute and the MDS Foundation, I'm helping to organize a patient-led support group for those affected by MDS in the Washington DC area. The stated purpose for this group is to provide patients, caregivers and families a safe place to cope with the emotional aspects of MDS, to share with others their feelings and challenges and to hear from local MDS other related healthcare professionals. The meetings are open to all patients, caregivers and families of those touched by the disease. Details of the VA MDS Support Group Meeting 2018 Dates: 10 Nov 2018 & 8 Dec 2018 Time: 10:30 am - 12:00 pm Where: Inova Schar Cancer Institute, Life With Cancer Family Center Address: 8411 Pennell Street, Fairfax, Virginia 22031 Room: Room 203 Light refreshments will be served.
