Post MDS 5q minus and Polymyalgia Rheumatica

I have had MDS 5q minus for 2 years and last spring I was also diagnosed with Polymyalgia Rheumatica. I have been taking Revlimid since April for the MDS - with terrfic results and am taking prednisone (15 mg) for the Polymyalgia Rheumatica (PMR). I am still in a lot of pain due to the PMR.

My question is: Are there others with MDS and PMR? If so, how are you doing and what type of medication are you on?

Thank you. Jill

MDS 5q- and PMR

Hello Jill

Welcome to a fellow aussie. I have sent you a private message about my husband's trials with PMR. Fortunately it began to "burn out" after 3.5 years, a long time, but there is light at the end of the tunnel.

He is also on Revlimid but it is beginning to stop working.
Looking forward to hearing from you and keep smiling

Helen
