Now I really know

I wanted to thank all those who gave helpful advice over the past several months. TodayI saw my own doctor and asked him point blank what kind of leukaemia the "preleukaemia" I'm sposed to have could be. T LL he told me. I still don't know any bone marrow stuff or flow cytrometry, as he didn't have that either. The haem just sends a synopsis after each visit I make. He does get the lab reports though and gave me all those results for bloods. So I'll tackle the haematologist when I next see him. It's such a relief to just know the direction, and that I have such a low grade thing. .<G> Thanks again everyone. Yvonne

Yvonne,

I'm really glad that Marrowforums has been helpful to you and that you're feeling some relief from having some support and information.

Your post seems to have some dropped characters in it, so I'm wondering what you mean when you said "T LL he told me."?

Regards,
Ruth

Oh sorry Ruth, I can't be more specific, but he said it was one of the Lymphocytic leukaemias, T cell. But early. And it's treatable he said. Thanks again. I can tell you I'm very glad it's not MDS<G> .It seems rather a relief not to have AML looming.<G> I'm an optimist by nature so believe I'll continue as always. Best wishes to you all. Yvonne
