Research fundraiser for Dr. Maciejewski
Hello everyone-
Just wanted you all to know about the event we are putting together to raise $$$ towards research for Bone Marrow Disease at The Cleveland Clinic. We have set up a fund called "MAKE IT HAPPEN" that will be directed 100% towards research for Dr. Maciejewski. Many of you probably know him from the conferences. He is the Principal Director of the National Bone Marrow Diseae Consortium and trained for many years under Dr. Neal Young @ NIH. He is also on the Medical Advisory Board for AA/MDS Foundation.He also treated my daughter and I believe, saved her. Our plan is to continue to raise funds to be used to help fund research, with the goal of learning better treatment options and ultimately find a CURE! We have put together an event called "Jungle Jam" which will be held October 17th, 2008. If anyone's in the area we'de LOVE to see you at the party!!!
