Has anyone experienced this?

I have had mild to moderate discomfort in my sternum, ribs and spine for a few months now. My doctor doesn't seem to be too concerned. I was just curious if anyone has experienced this?

Yes, i've had this off and on for a long time. I told my doctor about it and he said that it was probably costochondritis and not to worry about it. He pushed on the joints with the ribs and it was tender and he said that confirmed the costochondritis diagnosis.

Hi - I am new to this group and am also experiencing pain in my sternum and ribs. I may be fighting a virus right now and have read that this can cause inflammation of the cartilage in this area.

I have that problem too. I do notice it is worse when I am sick, or if my hgb is on the rise. My ribs are almost always tender to the touch, but sometimes very tender, other times less so. Not so much in my spine though.
