D38 since chemo

Counts finally took off after two days at home... (Parabolic)

WBC's rose to 2.2 (1.3 Monday) ANC hit 1.2 (0.5 Monday)
PLT's rose to 108 (100 Monday)
HGB up to 9.7 (8.4 Monday with no Transfusions)

Had my BMA/BMB today, changed pick-line dressing, will go back next Wednesday for follow up...

Feeling extremely well, happy to be home...

All the Best, and may God Bless us ALL!!!

Had my CBC taken this past Tuesday, and met with the Leukemia Dr.

Good news:
WBC's rose to 4.0 ANC hit 2.7
PLT's at 101
HGB steady at 9.6

Not so good news:
Got my BMA/BMB prelim results, and not great, came back at 15% up from 10% (not terrible), but that means I'm starting a 2nd round of Chemo... If all goes well this round, then my 2nd Transplant will now be in October...

Have to do everything I can to get it right this time, so was expecting that I might need a 2nd round (like I did last year)...

All the best, and May God Bless!!!

Hang in there Dave. From what I hear and read, two rounds is pretty common when fighting AML prior to transplant. I am sending good thoughts your way daily and know that you will persevere. It is good to see that your counts are bouncing back.

D+22 since start of 2nd round of chemo

WBC's rose to 0.4 (0.2 Yesterday) ANC still zero

PLT's at 11 (Will get PLT's today)

HGB at 8.1 (7.1 Yesterday so I got a RBC Transfusion)

Had a fever all last week, as High as 39.4c; the fever would break, and come back, ended up being a bacterial blood infection (something Pneumonia) one of the mildest strains, thank the Lord!!!

Feeling better, appetite is actually building, things are looking up for going home later next week / following week...

Will have BMB/BMA outpatient after that... Based on good result, looking at 10/24/2014 admission for second SCT/BMT...

D+0 would be 10/31/2014 exactly the same day as my 1st transplant... Crazy....

All the Best!!! And may God Bless!!!
