Applying for Social Security Disability When You Have MDS

An article titled Applying for Social Security Disability with Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS), by Lisa Giorgetti, appears in the Fall 2014 Newsletter of the MDS Foundation, starting on page 12. Intended for MDS patients who can't work, the article identifies the Social Security disability programs, outlines the medical eligibility requirements, and discusses the application process.
