BMT

Hi,
Can anyone tell me where I can get my cheek swabbed to determine if I am a match for my brother? I have consulted both bone marrow websites and I see it asks you to register to be a donor and they will send a swab kit, but I am primarily interested if I'm finding out if I'm a match for my brother.

Any help is appreciated! I live in Arlington, VA - close to Washington, DC.

Try this

I googled "HLA blood typing Virginia" & came up with the University of Virginia Health system. Quest diagnostics came up. If you get the right blood lab in your area they can probably give you more direction.
