Smile Clinical Trials

Hello everyone,

I contacted the American Cancer Society this weekend.
It was very informative.
They puy me in contact with the Clinical trial dept.
I ask for any non chemo, non radiation trials within 250 miles of my zip code.
within 24 hours they E-mailed me three trial information packet.
1 @ Johns Hopkins Univerty
1 @ Cleveland Clinic foundation
and 1- 20 miles away in Pittsburgh. PA
REMEMBER;
you CAN recover from Chemo
YOU CANNOT RECOVER FROM RADATION
I also found on the web site under Comp. & Alternative Therapies many
interesting Treatments
Please Check it out

God Bless

Every therapy can carry risks, as can having no therapy at all. It's very individual and personal preference is a factor. My wife recovered from chemotherapy and radiation; together they saved her life. Other choices, including clinical trials, may suit other patients. To get on a clinical trial patients have to meet the trial criteria, which is why it takes a little "shopping" to find trials that they are eligible for. Sometimes getting on a trial also depends on your ability and willingness to travel.

As Vince says, the American Cancer Society (ACS) provides useful information about the choices for patients.
