sideroblastic anemia with thrombocytosis

hello everyone...
my boyfriend has RARS-T (refractory anemia with ring sideroblast)... He deal with the desease very well since 2008 but last six months the rood blood cells are daling (now 8,9 g/l). Their platelets are rising (800000 in october-> 2200000 now). He's taking hydrea for platelets management since one week but that doesn't work at this time. He had a new bone marrow biopsy in april that showned any difference with these he had two years ago....
So, does anyone how we can manage the platelets (too high)?
Has someone already that seen?
thank you very much... I'm waiting your advice.
béné
