Cool Great News

Hey everyone:

Hope all is well. Got a great phone call from Moffitt. Authorization went thru for cross type and match. The kit is going out today, to my brother. If he is a match, the transplant is on. If not, they will go to the donor list. Please, keep me in your prayers. Really hope he is a match. The sooner the better. Doing platlett transfusion this morning. Things seem to be stabalizing a little more with the Revlimid. Will find out on the 17th of next month . So here we go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

God Bless

Anneg,

It sounds like Dr. Lancet has been taking good care of you but I'm sure you'd like to be off the chemo drugs and no longer dependent on transfusions. Good luck getting a match with your brother or another donor, and the resulting path to a cure.

Prayers and all other kinds of positive energy heading your way. I hope everything works out sooner than later for you too.

we are pulling for you, hope for the best. I was 70 when diagnosed, great I have 2 sons no sweat, then the doctor told me I was to old for a BMT. Keep on the positive side, don't let the MDS rule your life.
