Any one has used Tpiao or similar drug after ATG?

Here is the drug information:

http://www.goodfellowpharma.com/tpiao.php.

Management of thrombocytopenia in patients receiving myelosuppressive or myeloablative chemotherapy & in HIV-associated thrombocytopenia.

My mom was given this drug for more than a month and it does not show an effect on her. It is kind of expensive and we pay out of our own pocket (in China, the insurance does not cover a lot of drugs for SAA). There are some side effects as well. I want to know if anyone have heard/used any drugs similar as this and how effective this type of drugs is and what are side effects. Then, when I am going back to China and meet the doctor, I can raise questions and communicate with her effectively.

Thank you for your inputs.
