Differential question

What's the difference between blast cell % and absolute blast manual %? Hubby's latest says blast %11 and absolute blast manual % .2

Absolute versus %

Carrie,
From what I understand the absolute blast count is the actual number of blast cells - this a number, not a percentage. The % blasts is the percent of blood cells that are blasts. It is a comparison to the total number of blood cells to the number of blast cells.

Hope this helps
