Zolinza, Idarubicin, Cytarabine combo
This is some encouraging news for higher risk patients. When I emailed Dr. Guillermo Garcia-Manero a few months ago about this regimen, he was very pleased with the results, especially for those that went on to transplant.

MDS RCMD w/grade 2-3 fibrosis. Allo-MUD Feb 26, 2014. Relapsed August 2014. Free and clear of MDS since November 2014 after treatment with Vidaza and Rituxan. Experiencing autoimmune attack on CNS thought to be GVHD, some gut, skin and ocular cGVHD. Neuropathy over 80% of body.

Hi Dan,
Very interesting article with the best response rate I have seen  . The problem is that they don't tell us how many of the patients that had MDS. As far as I understand most of the patients had AML.Kind regards Birgitta-A
