My mother tried vit k2 + d3 liquid from Thorne research 45 mg k2, for 4-5 months. Since this did not help her counts, she tried osteo-k minis for a month. The testimonials on the nbi website are very encouraging but did not help my mother. I know of one more mds patient who has been taking osteo-k regular caps for 6 months+, no improvement in counts yet.

Since these have no side effects, it's worth a try as everyone responds differently.
Mother age 79, dx MDS RCMD low risk del 20q April 2013, no response to EPO, Danazol. pRBC tx dependent - 2 units every 3-4 weeks, exjade Dec 2013 - Mar2014, restarted Dec 2014
