Different treatments for high risk MDS

I was reading through the MDS information page provided by this website and came across the various treatment options. I didn't realize that different drugs were used for people of high risk.

I read that the following can be used as treatment option for high risk MDS patients: Cytarabine, Hydroxyurea, Daunorubicin, Idarubicin, and Mitoxantrone.

Has anyone been treated with these or have heard about their effectiveness?

My dad is currently on Vidaza and is in the high risk group.

Thanks
