Congratulations Dr. Young!
Dr. Neal Young of the NIH has been named one of 9 winners of the 2012 Samuel J. Heyman Service to America Medal for his work with aplastic anemia and other bone marrow failure diseases.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/...e377_blog.html While not a "cure", it was his work that uncovered the autoimmune connection and brought us the ATG/cyclosporine protocol that has changed so many of our lives. http://www.washingtonpost.com/nih-sc...emailtoafriend
