I'm still here

I haven't posted much, but I read everyone's posts almost daily. My 59 year old brother has MDS. He has been holding steady with 3 rounds of Dacogen, but now the dr. states he wants to wait 8 weeks and if there is no improvement, we will start the search for a BMT donor.

This news caught me by surprise to say the least. Does anyone have any experience with Dr. Aghi at UPMC (Pittsburgh)?

I know several people are currently recuperating from the BMT and I am keeping you in my prayers.

Sharon
