MDS Patient Forum in Atlanta, GA, Nov 13-14
Fellow MDS patients and caregivers,
Another MDS patient forum will be held in Atlanta, GA, on Nov 13-14. It is sponsered by the MDS Foundation, another source for information for MDS patients. Several MDS experts will be presenting at the conf: Drs: Alan List, Lewis Silverman, John Bennett, Peter Greenburg, Steven Nimer, David Steensma. All are top MDS researchers who have participated in the trials and research with the current MDS drugs. This should be a good conf for all MDS patients and caregivers. Kirby71, RAEB2 dx 2/04, Thalidomide 30 mo, Revlimid 18 mo, No resp Vidaza 6/09 2nd Thalid use, Promacta, Lowdose Dacogen added 10/09 at 40% blasts. 5/11 BMB-blasts 8%. 2/11 2nd Revl restart=good resp, Platelets drop 6/11, 3rd Thalid,+Nplate+Dacogen. 7/12 Cnts stable for 10 mo.
