Our Journey's End

It is with sorrow that my amazing husband Patrick passed away on 17th November, after 3 years battling SAA which became MDS and subsequently AML... he fought until the very end never giving in to this sneaky disease.

Thank you to this forum for giving me the knowledge and insight to understand better the condition, to finding coping tools and to feel that there were others in the "same boat".

I wish everyone hope and don't give up no matter what.

Sincerely
Barbara (WW)

I am so sorry to hear of Patrick's passing. I'm sure you were a great comfort to him over the years in which he battled this disease.

With sympathy....Marlene

This is very sad news, Barbara. It's very generous of you to share the news with us in your time of loss.

You educated yourself, sought help wherever you could find it, and took care of Patrick. You're just as amazing as him.

I wish that you and Patrick had had more years together.
