Pension and Work?
My first question is if I collect a disability pension from the state can I still collect disability or SSI? My problem is I am 33, and a Police Officer (out of work because of AML and BMT Aug. 31st) and my DR. isn't sure she wants me to go back to that profession. I work in a city that has alot of people with Hepetitis and HIV and we wrestle around with them during an arrest often.
My 2nd question would be if I can collect the pension, which is 40% of my last years salary, would it be a problem if I worked another job that the Dr. approves of? Any help would be great.
