BMT 29th Aug.
 Hey everyone:Got my dates, Pre-Transplant Med. Eval., scheduled for 6th-8th of Aug. BMT, scheduled for 29th of Aug., as long as the scedule fits the donor, still nt sure, I know don't get to excited, it can change at anytime. Wanted to know about the medical evaluation, what it intails, anyone???? I know they are doing a bmb, checking all organs ect. But other than that, I have no idea. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Hope all is well. Anneg God Bless

Right now they consider you eligible for a transplant so the medical evaluation is to make sure that nothing about your health has changed for the worse in a way that would make the transplant too risky. It's a once-over review, especially of vital organs, to make sure that "all systems are go for takeoff".
