Pulling Procrit

Pop went in today and was officially informed that he would no longer be receiving Procrit. This was the only thing keeping him going, other than the transfusions. This now puts Pop on the final chapter. His spirits are low, and he is sleeping allot. I would say depressed.

My mother was required to sign a form stating she was explained the risks. To their knowledge, there is only one patient that is still on the program because he fits in to the "specific" parameters.

Are there any other patients in this boat?

Prayers with all

Scott

Here is the post where mannythedog described the situation at the time his father (since deceased) stopped taking Procrit.
