My Dad is diagnosed for MDS ,just started with Vidaza

My Dad is diagnosed for MDS,and the treatment for MDS was started 4 days ago with Vidaza,first cycle,today we had the 4th dose .Our doctor has prescribed Subcutaneous dosage of 100mgx7days in a month x4 months. he also gave medication for Nausea ,vomiting &anxiety-sleeplessness before hand .though the injection sites are red , bruised and paining ,as told.no other side effects from VIDAZA ,due to lowplatlet count there are patches of hemmorages on sides of
mouth ,blood bluma on tounge & mouth ulcers .CBP was done on firstday ,before firstdose,Hb was 7.8 , platelets 25k ,creatine 0.9 billrubin 1.2 or 1.7 ,so two units were trasfused ,tomorrow have to do another CBP.

Evening Primrose capsules broken and oil spread on the injention sites might help the redness and swelling...we have done this 3 times per day on injection sites, it works for us...
