Transfussions after transplant
I had my stem cell transplant on June 24th and I have had 5 blood transfusions since transplant. My hemg. has gone as low as 6. I was wondering if this is normal ? My transplant Dr. says it is just part of the change over. He is doing a bone marrow test on Monday, he says that is the best way to tell what is going on.
I have been a little scared about the results.

If you've only had 5 transfusions since transplant, then you are sitting pretty...
At least from my point of view... I've had 4 RBC and 4 PLT transfusions since my transplant, and I'm only at D+10, your near or at D+140.... God Bless and best of luck in the future...
