Defense Dept. bone marrow failure research

I was checking the net for research and came across this. Now to find if there is other money funding research other than with the Defense Dept.

I didn't find who in the DoD was receiving funding, but military doctors do treat military patients and their dependents for all kinds of medical conditions.

My sister, who was a military dependent, was scheduled to receive one of the first bone marrow transfusions for AML. She didn't make it as she had a CVA and died.

Google http://www.index.va.gov/search/va/search_tips.jsp
select from the list U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Search Tips
select from the right side Search Portals Board of Veterans' Appeals Decision Search

I did a search, and I could not find much regarding any reference to the Board of Veterans Appeals Decision Search results. I stumbled across this resource not long ago. I have found this source to be very helpful. I have been able to use past court decisions and incorporate a lot of information, including case decisions and Code of Federal Regulation references among other things from these decisions into my claim process. It was especially valuable when I filed for VA compensation due to MDS and Agent Orange. If you have not tried this site please do the following; first Google
http://www.index.va.gov/search/va/search_tips.jsp
then from the list that pops up select
U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Search Tips
then select from the right side a little ways down under
Search Portals select Board of Veterans' Appeals Decision Search.
You then can search for MyeloDysplastic Syndrome cases by year.
