High ferritin and iron levels
Does anyone suffer from high ferritin and iron levels for what appears to be no known reason i.e. no transfusions, no iron supplements etc.
If your doctors have been able to provide any insight into this that would be greatly appreciated. |

Hi TASHMAC,
There is a condition that can cause iron to be stored. It's called hemochromatosis. Here is a link from the Mayo Clinic: http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-c...n/con-20023606 I hope this helps. Sally |
