Aflac old and new cancer policy

any one ever gotten a diagnosis payout from Aflac with CIMF? I purchased an Aflac cancer policy in 2004. Of course back then CIMF was classified as a "pre-cancer" so no payout for initial diagnosis in 2006. Then several years ago Aflac revised their classification and is covering it as a cancer*under the New cancer policy* . I've been stuck in the middle for 10 years. old policy says it's not cancer, new policy says it is (preexisting conditions clause kicks in here) going to the Aflac Moral board, AGAIN.
any advice from anyone that's fought this fight?
