MDS turned to AML STC scheduled for April 25, 2012 at Northwestern

My Husband Scott, 49, was diagnosed with MDS in July 2011, and AML in Feb 2012. He has gone through 2 rounds of Consolidation Chemo, and we are checking back in at the hosptial for final chemo and SCT on April 25, 2012. We have posted every day of our journey to date, even taking videos of the hospital room etc. so others would know what to expect. Hope his blog helps someone else out there. We continue to post every day, and will continue through the next 2 months of SCT and recovery. God Bless every one of you out there. Have faith and YOU CAN do this. Many ups and downs, new normals and challenges, but it can bring you closer to others and GOD, put your life in perspective and make even the most simple pleasures even better. Hang tough.
