This year's Walk Champion is Marrowforums' own Ruth Cuadra, survivor of both aplastic anemia and MDS. Her life was saved by a bone marrow transplant from a matched unrelated donor, who was located by Be The Match.

Ruth has devoted herself to raising awareness about bone marrow failure, supporting patients, and helping the Aplastic Anemia and MDS International Foundation, including attending countless patient conferences, volunteering for the Peer Support Network, and co-organizing all 11 March for Marrow events in Los Angeles.
