transplant match

hello, we have found out today that a match has been found for ella, all we konw is that its a 27 year old man from the uk and its a 10/10 match, its strange to think there is someone with the same hla as ella!
Hopefully all going well she will be admitted at the begining of october.

Congratulations, Kelly.

Are they waiting until October simply because of the logistics?

I'm sure you'll have lots of questions about what a transplant will be like for Ella and how to make it as easy as possible for her.

That's great!

Children do very well with transplants. Are they holding off until October just to give ATG a little more time? Or is it just a scheduling issue?

Hi, I think they have all but given up on the atg, so we just have to wait for the transplant to be arranged. I'm just praying there will be a end to it all soon.
