Good Read

New York Times there is a good article using a disabled form or the AIDS virus to reprogram immune system genetically to kill cancer cells....a little girl had leukemia and now in rem.....if i posted this in the wrong place...please move....i found this a good read...

Here's a link to the NYT regarding the treatment. This is not the one about the young girl but about another patient....same treatment. Looks like there can be long term problems because the treatment targets B cells and it kills both healthy and cancer b cells. Hopefully, they'll be able to sort it all out.
