Danazol, cyclosporine and next... zenapax for Grant

Hi-
Thought I'd start a new thread..

Grant is going to start zenapax (daclizumab) as soon as we can get it set up. It will be a 30 minute infusion through a regular IV. 6 treatments total. One every 2 weeks. If after 3 or 4 treatments, nothing is happening, then we will stop and move on to the next treatment on the list.

Danazol isn't doing much for his counts, YET. We saw a jump in his retic count last time but are reserving judgement until the next set of counts to see if it is continuing.

Wendy/mom to Grant
age 15
dx 12/4/98
transfusion dependent
taking cyclo, danazol and Exjade now

Good to hear!

Hi Wendy-

Glad to hear from you . I've been thinking about Grant and wondering how he is- please let us know how his counts go.
