I don't have MDS!
I pinned the man down today and he says I have a T-Cell aberration which shows up in "special tests" which seems to be Flow Cytrometry. He said the Tcells go up and down, and at present are OK as far as numbers go. It's not really anything just now, but he won't say there's nothing wrong which is what i wanted. OK now we keep watching and waiting. I thank you all for the support over the past crazy months. Wattle

Not MDS after all
Hi Yvonne,
Good that you managed to "pin the man down" at last! Hope your T-cells will behave in the future! Kind regards Birgitta 68 yo, MDS intermidiate-1 dx May 2006, transfusion dependent, Desferal 4 days/month, Neupogen 2 days/week, Prednisolone 2,5 mg/day, asymptomatic |

Great news, Wattle. I hope that without the worry of MDS you'll be able to relax and feel better all around.
Regards, Ruth
