MDS progressing - Symptoms

I was wondering about possible symptoms that occur when MDS gets worser, or when it is progressing to AML.

Are there any such set symptoms or any particular way blood counts start behaving to know that the disease may be getting worse? (Apart from a BMB which would give the right picture)

Progression

Hi S001,
There are many signs showing that the disease is progressing like increasing number of RBC units per month, lower absolute neutrophil count, lower platelet count, and higher serum lactate dehydrogenase (LDH). When I have these signs my doctor takes a new BMB - still I have less than 5 % blast cells in the bone marrow which means that there is no AML transformation yet.
Kind regards
Birgitta-A
