who has RARS and high ferritine without transfusion?
hello,
My friend has RARS-T and has no transfusion. but his ferritine level is also high (1000). Does anyone that have? thanks for help and sorry for the worse engels. good evening |

Ferritin
Hi gramous,
It is common that MDS patients have high ferritin values without txs eventually due to hemolysis (the red blood cells burst much too early). A ferritin value of 1000 is not considered dangerous for the liver, heart and other organs. Kind regards Birgitta-A |
