Free One-Day MDS Conference in Tampa, October 2009
The H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center, in collaboration with the Aplastic Anemia & MDS International Foundation (AA&MDSIF), will hold a free one-day conference for MDS patients and their family members on Saturday, October 10, 2009 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
A team of medical experts will discuss the diagnosis and treatment of MDS, as well as MDS basics and emotional health. The featured speakers, schedule for the day, directions, and parking instructions can be viewed on the AA&MDSIF Tampa 2009 page. When: Saturday, October 10, 2009 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Registration will begin at 8:00 AM.Where: Moffitt Stabile Research Building (directions)Registration is free and includes breakfast and lunch, but you must sign up online or by calling the Foundation at 800-747-2820, option "3".

Reminder: The one-day MDS conference in Tampa is next weekend. Those who want to attend should sign up now.
The one-day MDS conferences in Cleveland (in May) and Los Angeles (in September) were well-attended and very successful. The Tampa conference is sure to be just as helpful to patients and their families.
