Day 3160!

Hi all -

I've been reading around the site and decided to post. I was diagnosed with SAA on my tenth birthday. My brother was a complete match and my transplant was set for June. All in all, I was very blessed with great doctors, family, and as much faith as a 10 year old can have.

I'm very healthy now. Other than some really cute scars (HA) from my broviacs no one would ever know what I had been through.

I wanted to post a little hope. And encouragement.. for all of you dealing with the illnesses of your children, spouses, friends, and other loved ones - thank you. You are the driving force behind their recovery. For those fighting the good fight you have my respect and prayers.

Much love to all of you - feel free to message/email me with questions/venting/any thing I can do to help. I may be almost 10 years removed from this but I refuse to forget when so many other people are still fighting.

- Taylor

Taylor - thanks so much for your post.
My son was 3 when he was diagnosed - he is just over a year out of transplant. It is so great to hear your life is normal. I worry about what this is going to bring for his future.
Thanks so much for the hope you bring!
