Megakaryocytic hypoplasia

My bone marrow biopsy last month included a diagnosis of Megakaryocytic Hypoplasia. Anyone else with PNH have this and if so, did your hematologist treat it with any particular medicine?

Hi Sarah,

Megakaryocytic Hypoplasia refers to a decrease in the number/development of your platelet precursor cells.

This result can't be interpreted in isolation. It could be due to a recent virus or medication. It also is seen in aplastic anemia.
