Cellarity after Transplant?
Hi just wondering what yalls cellarity was after transplant. Did it continue to go up after day 100?
Ron's was about 5% hypocellular before transplant and his 100 day bmb results came back at 40%. (Yaaaay I guess that means AA free!) 70% would be normal for his age but 40% is waaaay better then 5% for sure! Just wondering does it continue to go up and what were normal results after a year or so transplant

Joe's was about the same at the 100 day mark and he's the same age as Ronald. Our doc felt that was acceptable being less than 5% pre transplant.

You're welcome! No more biopsies since then, but he will get another at his 1 year appointment. Time definitely started to go quicker after we got passed the 100 days. The only reminder of being sick is when Joe goes to his monthly appointments. I still get a knot in my stomach and hang by my phone to get a text with his counts on that day!

I can relate to that! If for some reason I couldn't go to the apt. It's the one and only phone call I allow to be interrupted when I'm w a client. Good to read about the 100 days and happy early 365 days!!!!

Hi Heather, yes cellularity can continue to rise after 100days. I believe it also may rise once Ron's off his immunosuppression meds.
Wonderful news that he's doing so well!!
