Phase 1 Dacogen Trial
1/14/08 started Phase 1 dacogen injection trial in which each of those in trial are given one of three different dosages. Trial is 2 shots a day for 1week each month over 4 months to determine the most effective dosage. So far it has drops all my counts, but WBC is still normal, Red cell counts are 10.8 and platelets have dropped twice to 7 so I have had two platelet transfusions. I hope this will improve my platelet counts. If anyone has experience with dacogen, please advise.

Can you give us an update, Jordan? How have your platelet counts been?
There are quite a few decitabine trials currently listed at clinicaltrials.gov. Do you know which one you are on? |
