This could be interesting
I received an email from an Oncology magazine and this was listed as one of the enclosed articles. I have just come home from hospital and have to get ready for work and therefore, I don't have time to read it.
Study Discounts Age Limit on Stem Cell Transplants Elsevier Global Medical News, 2008 Dec 8, S Boschert Age should no longer be a contraindication to allogeneic transplantation, according to results of a large retrospective study of AML and MDS patients. Hope it has some good news. Chirley

Copper deficiency bone marrow failure (MDS RAEB 1), neuromyelopathy. FISH reported normal cytogenetics but gene testing showed Xq 8.21 mutation Xq19.36 mutation Xq21.40. mutation 1p36. Mutation 15q11.2 deletion
