Has anyone been on Dacogen plus valproic acid?
My mom, 71 with MDS (low platelets, hemoglobin, WBC, blasts 14%+) has just started on Dacogen plus valproic acid. (5 days on, 2 days off, 5 days on, 2 weeks off - regimen). So far feeling good, a little tired... she is getting this treatment in the hospital.... has anyone else out there been on this combination?

Hi, Lee.
Welcome to Marrowforums. Here are a couple of links to help you get started: There is a thread here in which valproic acid is discussed and another here that mentions it by the brand name Depakene. Regards, Ruth Cuadra
