cbc with diff
I went to see the dr due to im tired of being underweight (been 97 lbs since i was 13 and am now 32 with 5 kids and still 97 lbs) so they did a cbc with diff along with looking for hyperthyroidism. The results are back but dr didnt explain anything, just referred me to a hematologist, which i dont see for several weeks. Ive done alot of research and the results are alarming and confusing. But before i post that, i am pretty healthy, underweight, bruise easily, but no colds, flus, infections etc. I do get frequent headaches and lately not a huge appetite.
so here are the results WBC COUNT 4.0 - 10.0 K/ul 2.9 LOW RBC COUNT 3.80 - 5.30 M/ul 4.36 HEMOGLOBIN 11.5 - 15.3 g/dl 13.1 HEMATOCRIT 34.0 - 45.0 % 40.9 MCV 80.0 - 97.0 fl 93.9 MCH 26.0 - 32.0 pg 30.0 MCHC 31.0 - 36.0 g/dl 32.0 RDW 11.5 - 15.5 % 12.5 PLATELET COUNT 140 - 440 K/ul 168 MPV 8.0 - 13.0 fl 13.7 HIGH and the diff results TOTAL CELLS COUNTED 100 SEG.
