hello to everyone

on june 18th skin biopsybut acute worsening of hepstic tests ( based on jaunadice ).extensive chrinic gvhd ,liver ultrasonography doese not show alterations of biliary tree
so the i started treatment with prednisone 75 mg ( only) on june 20th improvmente of LFT.
on july 2nd only ERYTHMATOUS DERMATITIS is present.
LFT improving, start tapering prednisone.
on july 17 only erythmatous dermatitis and mild oral lichen
LFT improving
on july 31st onl;y oral lichen sotp prednisone

but when i stop prednisone i feel so tired and no appetite i dont eat like before and if i eat i eat little

so i don't know if it's good if only i was treated with prednisone without for exemple SICLOSPORINE or other drugs in this kinds

and now i'm not taking any drugs , but i feel so week and tired
is that usual ??

Hi, Micho.

It's not unusual to feel tired, weak, and have no appetite when you stop prednisone. From the schedule you've described it sounds like you tapered off a large dose of prednisone very quickly. Such a fast taper might not have given your adrenal glands a chance to kick in. That would account for your feeling poorly. Your doctor can do an ACTH stimulation test to see if your adrenals are working. If not, you may need a regimen to get them back in action by taking a small dose of prednisone every other day or every third day.
