Ugly/Unique fruit...what's the call?

Ok guys,

Big quality of life issue here: I have lived most of my adult life eating a bowl of cheerios, strawberry yogurt and grapefruit for breakfast.

In addition, when visiting Mexico, I can't live without my grapefruit soda.

This no grapefruit thing, while seemingly banal, is really starting to bother me after a year of CSA.

I remember a few years ago, I had gotten on this ugly/unique fruit kick. It's almost like grapefruit but a little sweeter. I'm thinking this could help get this grapefruit monkey off my back for now.

Does anyone know where I could get info on whether or not it does the same thing as grapefruit? I've snooped around a bit but haven't found anything.

Thanks

Are you thinking of a pomelo?

(I have no clue if it interacts with CSA, though!)

Ugli fruit (C)

Spelled with an "i"

It says that it's a hybrid of several fruits incl. grapefruit. So it may be off limits.

Ryan

Hi Ryan, I just read your post, I also LOVE grapefruit soda, especially Hansen's and Izze. I try not to drink any soda's with sodium or potassium benzoate because I'm not convinced that benzoates + vitamin C= benzene.
