when MDS transform to AML

I have read that when you get 20% blast cells you have AML, so I have a question, if a person has 20% blast and blood count stables and normal cytogenetic does that person has AML?

I am no expert but I would think your dr would have to make that determination. maybe another bmb perhaps would tell. like I said I am no expert.

According to my Dr.s there is not a whole lot of difference..
