Wink T-cell Large Granular Lymphocytosis

Hello All
My name is Jean. After over two years of strange happenings in my blood results for low red and white cells I had a bone marrow test done last August. Finally after seeing one Haematology specialist then another in depth one I have been diagnosed with this T-cell Large Granular Lymphocytosis.

I had prednisolone 20mg for 8 weeks. The results were very fast and I felt so much better in myself. NO more tiredness and temperature fluctuation a week after starting. MY blood tests show real improvement so am now in 6 weeks of 15mg then 6 weeks at 10mg.

Seeing my GP last week we had a chat about the results and I asked about long term outcome. Could this turn nasty on me. Apparently it might but there is no way of predicting it and they will be monitoring me in the future just in case

Has anyone else had this apparently rare condition.

Many thanks for reading Jean
