When patients receive a bone marrow or stem cell transplant from an unrelated donor it can be hard for them to put their thanks into words. There's no bigger gift than the gift of life, and transplants remain the only cures for aplastic anemia, MDS, and PNH.
After an aplastic anemia patient named Adam received marrow from a generous donor named Andrew, Adam decided to thank Andrew in a YouTube video, with help from many dozens of his friends and family members.

Let others know about this video too. It's one tribute to one donor but it represents the thanks owed to the hundreds of donors who give their marrow or stem cells to strangers every month.
The need for bone marrow and stem cell donors is worldwide. It's as important as ever that we call attention to the
Be The Match program of the National Marrow Donor Program, the
British Bone Marrow Registry run by the National Health Service, and the equivalents in other countries.
