Beth - My deepest sympathy for your very sad loss. May you experience the comfort which comes from knowing that you did your very best for Earl. Your attitude throughout has been an inspiration to all of us who are facing the unknown. My gift for your encouragement is 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18.

Dear Beth, stay strong with the knowledge that your dear Earl is now resting peacefully and is no longer suffering.

I have watched your posts and the strength, kindness and support you have offered to Earl and all on of us here on this forum as we face the fear of these unknown diseases is inspirational.

Kind thoughts to you and yours at this most difficult time.

Beth, I have read how much you loved Earl and what a strong advocate you were for his treatment. May everyone have an advocate as passionate as you have been. Going forward will be difficult but you have shown you have the grit to do it. My sympathy to you in your loss.

In our thoughts

Sending prayers to keep you strong. Such a loss and so hard for the family. You both battled hard to the end.

Thanks for the words of encouragement

Everyone;
Thank you all so much for the love, prayers an encouragment that you have extended to both Earl and myself throughout this entire ordeal. I want to share with you a poem that I wrote after driving home from Tampa that night. It is titled:

F I N A L I T Y

I always knew the time would come
when we would say 'goodbye'.
It came so soon, my heart is sad,
it seems we just said 'Hi'.

The times we shared now have a place
so special in my heart.
The memories, the laughs and tears
all from the very start.

I care so very much for you,
the feelings just won't end.
My love, my life, my husband
my dearest and best friend.

I will Love You Forever,
Beth
Nothing more needs said - but thanks again dear friends.
Beth

Beth, what a beautiful poem. I had tears in my eyes when I read it, tears of sadness and happiness. Thank you for sharing this lovely poem with us.

Lots of love, prayers and hugs.
